Trauma Program ED Education Session

Join us for an informative and practical Emergency Room Nursing Education Session focused on enhancing trauma care skills and documentation accuracy. This session will provide an in-depth review of the Trauma Nursing Assessment, emphasizing systematic approaches to initial assessment, secondary surveys, and prioritization in trauma scenarios. Nurses will gain a clearer understanding of clinical indicators, rapid decision-making, and patient stabilization techniques.
Additionally, the session will include a detailed review of the Trauma Record, highlighting proper documentation standards, common omissions, and strategies to improve charting consistency. This component will support nurses in ensuring that trauma records are complete, timely, and reflective of the care provided.
Who Should Attend: All Emergency Department nurses, especially those involved in trauma care or interested in refining their trauma assessment and documentation practices.
