Regional Injury Prevention

TBRHSC Regional Injury Prevention’s primary focus has been on the development and delivery of youth injury prevention programs. Our scope has recently expanded to include valuable injury prevention programming to accommodate a range of ages. Our vision is to continue to expand injury prevention programming for all ages in the Northwest Region.

At TBRHSC, Trauma Program, Regional Injury Prevention we set out to reduce unintentional injury. Decreasing the frequency, severity and impact of preventable injury is the goal of our injury prevention programs. We facilitate this through general injury prevention education, presentations, awareness campaigns and other training programs. We also accomplish this through learning, leadership and by building partnerships throughout Ontario and Canada.
